About

Paul Fahey MA, LLPC

Paul is a professional counselor, speaker, and retreat leader. He provides support for those who have been spiritually abused and produces resources for Church leaders to better safeguard their communities against all forms of abuse. Before becoming a professional counselor, he worked for several years as a full-time catechist. Paul is also the host of the Third Space podcast. He lives in Michigan with his wife, Kristina, and their five kids.

The name Living Solidarity comes from the Church's teaching on the virtue of solidarity. This virtue is both personal and social. In a personal sense, solidarity moves someone to commit themselves to recognizing and respecting the infinite dignity of every human person, to seek others' good rather than exploiting others' vulnerability. Socially, solidarity seeks to reform cultures and institutions, tearing down structures of sin and injustice and building structures of justice and respect for human dignity.

I believe that institutional healing and reform in the Church can only happen when solidarity is practiced at every level.
